Beth and Jeff planned their gorgeous Paradise Ridge wedding from New York. Jeff is in the Coast Guard and was deployed to help with Hurricane Sandy and Beth was studying for finals during part of the time, so it made for some interesting emails!
The day of the wedding dawned bright and beautiful. The incomparable AMS music service played the melodies for the bridesmaids and groomsmen’s entrances, but the couple wanted to include their sons and add a bit of fun to the mix. SO when the theme from James Bond played, the groomsmen secured the parameter and Beth’s son carried in “the package” escorted by Jeff’s sons as secret service men. It was a great way to bring in the wedding rings! Reverend Peadar Dalton performed the intimate ceremony, and the bride and groom kissed to resounding applause.
While Beth and Jeff went off with photographer Jenica Knight from Knight Studios (they flew her in from New York!) to take pictures, the guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres of miniature crab cakes and wild mushroom and fontina cheese puffs.
Then the guests were invited into an absolutely gorgeous dining room replete with uplights from AMS and the most breath taking centerpieces from Stems Florals. It was absolutely stunning. The buffet outside on the terrace overlooking the valley was set up on rustic wood planks and wine barrels and featured tender tri-tip with Merlot jus lie and chicken breast with a chipotle-mango glaze by Park Avenue Catering.
After dinner, guests enjoyed dancing or having their pictures made in the photo booth, leaving copies for Beth and Jeff’s memory book. Thomas Hughes Videography did a great job capturing the style and movement of this fabulous wedding day.
Not wanting the evening to be over, the guests made their way to the historic Hotel la Rose in Santa Rosa for an after party at the lounge after the reception at Paradise Ridge had ended.
